For more than 11 years, Omah Ogel operated from rented properties — caring for rescued dogs and cats who had nowhere else to go.
Then on April 4, 2026, everything changed.
We were given just six weeks to relocate nearly 190 rescued animals.
After 11 years of rescue work, we finally have the opportunity to build a permanent sanctuary where they can live without fear of relocation or uncertainty.
For the first time, they will have a place to call HOME.
🚨 Construction is underway — $22,734 still needed to complete the permanent sanctuary
For more than 11 years, Omah Ogel operated from rented properties — caring for rescued dogs and cats who had nowhere else to go.
Then on April 4, 2026, everything changed.
Eight years ago, Amy Sukmana found a tiny puppy alone on an empty piece of land. His mother and littermates had died from Parvovirus — one of the deadliest diseases for puppies. He was the only survivor.
The cost of treatment consumed nearly all of Amy's savings at the time. But giving up was never an option.
The puppy survived. Amy named him Ogel.
Today, those same animals are waiting for a permanent place to call HOME.
Some arrived injured. Some arrived starving. Some were abandoned. All of them deserved a second chance.

✅ Official Land Certificate
Unlike many fundraising campaigns, the land has already been purchased — entirely from Amy's personal savings, before a single donation was received.
A 1,051 m² property in Bogor Regency, West Java. For the first time in Omah Ogel's history, the animals have land of their own.
With limited funds and an urgent need to relocate by mid-June 2026, we had to find a solution fast. The newly purchased land was covered with dense vegetation — and hundreds of bamboo trees.
Instead of clearing everything away, we decided to use what was already there.
Hundreds of bamboo stalks were carefully transformed into temporary shelters and perimeter fencing.

It may not be the sanctuary we dream of building one day.
But it provides something far more important right now:
Safety, stability, and a permanent place to call HOME.
The sanctuary is no longer just a plan. Construction is already underway — and every dollar brings it closer to completion.

Your support helps complete what's already being built. Every contribution makes a visible, real difference.
Every bamboo post. Every wall. Every improvement. Documented and shared openly.
The land is secured. Construction has begun. The animals are waiting.
Now we need your help to finish what was started.
For the first time in 11 years, more than 190 rescued animals have the opportunity to live in a permanent sanctuary of their own — a place where they will never have to fear relocation again.
Every contribution — large or small — makes this possible.
